We have been awarded the prestigious ‘Restaurant of the Year’ by Les Routiers
Les Routiers a leading travel guide which recommends quality establishments from across the UK and Ireland announced it's winners earlier this month. The award for our newly refurbished Copper Horse celebrates the restaurant’s creative use of fresh, local and seasonal produce. Tina Griffiths from Les Routiers said, ‘Our winners source ingredients from specialist local suppliers, which they use imaginatively in their unpretentious and often regional dishes. The Copper Horse’s appreciation of regional produce is what underpins Les Routiers’ philosophy. We are delighted to award them Restaurant of the Year 2017.’
Scarborough-based entrepreneur Nick Thomas, who owns the restaurant with his wife Sandra said “Our fantastic team work hard to ensure that first-class food and drink are at the heart of what we do at The Copper Horse, so we are absolutely delighted to receive this latest accolade. Since the restaurant re-opened following a major refurbishment in May 2106 we’ve seen more people than ever visiting The Copper Horse and we know from talking to customers that they are delighted with the new look and feel at the restaurant”.
